Total victory? Neither Republicans nor Democrats, Left nor Right, will ever achieve total victory (one completely replacing the either) so long as freedom of speech, freedom of thought, freedom of conscience prevails. Personally, I thank God for the conflict of ideas. Look at what happens when only one ideology is allowed to prevail, as in the Soviet Union or California. Ideas stagnate and all freedom perishes.

I'm right their with you. The conflict of ideals is what fueled the start of this country and I definitely don't want a country run by one political ideal. As it appears education and many government entities are today.
