It's sad that our society lets folks with early onset senile dementia or Alzheimer's wander around in public making total fools of themselves the way crazy old Uncle Joe does. I never much cared for the man, but I hate seeing his losing his mind winding up what people remember of him. At least Nancy kept Ronnie protected from the public as his mind slipped away.

I'm sure Jill an Joe both want bo part of this but the Democratic party asked him or begged him to partake. They knew only a man appealing to see moderate would sway some Republicans an appeal moderates. Allowing someone like Sanders would have been politically suicide.
