On 20 January 1993, George W H Bush left a heartfelt closing message for the newly inaugurated President Bill Clinton on a desk in the Oval Office upon his departure, in a surprising show of unity.

I don't care what party you are PO1 William "Chip" Nagel, you should be able to work together and American politics have strayed so far off course. I'd be willing to bet there will be no letter or if there is it will read something like even though you're in the office now I still won!
