"That every citizen, so enrolled and notified, shall, within six months thereafter, provide himself with a good musket or firelock, a sufficient bayonet and belt, two spare flints, and a knapsack, a pouch, with a box therein, to contain not less than twenty four cartridges, suited to the bore of his musket or firelock, each cartridge to contain a proper quantity of powder and ball; or with a good rifle, knapsack, shot-pouch, and powder-horn, twenty balls suited to the bore of his rifle, and a quarter of a pound of powder; ..."
This is a direct quote from the Militia act of 1792. There have been changes to the "Militia Act" over time, the last being in 1903 to establish the National Guard, none of the Congressional revisions to the act changed this section. It is still US Law.
The 2nd Amendment, establishes that the Right to keep and bear arms can not be Infringed by Congress.
10 U.S. Code § 246, Defines who is in the Militia, I posted on that Yesterday.
The Militia Act in all of it's revisions, is a Legal Mandate that all Members of the Militia must Own and be Proficient with Their own Firearm.
The Gun Grabbing, Socialist, Communist, Left, Woke, and various other derogatory epithets can Kiss My A$$. I am Constitutionally required to own a Long Gun that can be used as a Weapon, in the event of an Invasion of CONUS.
Too Radical? I don't think so. It's the Law.
