Like Obama. Making sure Iran has the Bomb in ten years. And like taking Hillary advice and flattened Libya leaving it a failed state. And leading from behind. Obama and Hillary are responsible for the rise of ISIS. And Obama blaming a terrorist attack in San Bernadinio in the lack of gun control. And by the way the Jewish guy teased the Muslim guy about his beard.

"Obama and Hillary are responsible for the rise of ISIS."

Not Sykes-Picot?

Cruz, Rubio, Carson - any of those three can be briefed in 1 hour to know what they need to know. They have the mental capacity to do so, unlike the others on either side - they also have respect for the Constitution and Liberty......

Capt Walter Miller - Captain; When someone says "Assuming those figures are true, he ignores that the combat power of those planes and ships has dramatically grown." I always like to ask them if the reliably available combat power per dollar has grown. They seldom know that the answer is "No.".

As an example, for what it costs to build one DD-1000 class ship, you could build about 6 "Graf Spee" class 'Pocket Battleships' and deliver one hell of a lot bigger "weight of fire" as NGS. (The "Graf Spee" class ships were also faster than the DD-1000 and had greater endurance. [Besides, if you were a sailor would you rather sail on a warship that LOOKED like a warship or on something that looked like a converted freighter?])

I see one of those ships and I think, "It ain't got no guns." Then I look again and I think, "It ain't got no guns."

I agree also -- a guy with pack and rifle now is a lot like a guy with a pack and rifle in 1944. Except the guy in 1944 had a great rifle, not some POS 5.56mm pop gun.

Capt Walter Miller - Captain; There is absolutely nothing wrong with 5.56mm as a calibre - provided that the person shooting the weapon is actually able to hit their target at a respectable range (and that the target that they hit is one that will do significant damage to the person being shot at).

Unfortunately that means that the "average center of mass" shot isn't likely to be as damaging to the target with 5.56mm as it would have been with 7.62mm. (It also means that protective gear to prevent "center of mass" injuries can be one hell of a lot flimsier for 5.56mm than they would have to be for 7.62mm.

You might find the linked video regarding "armor" interesting.
