I remember many casualties from accidents leading up the actual war. A steam pipe on a navy ship ruptured and killed several sailors. A B-52 crashed and several helicopters crashed all in preparation for the war. We lost more people leading up to the war than we did in the war until the Scud missile hit at one of our bases. I remember being glued to the TV for information. Wow the News media sure has changed. We use to trust the media of our information.
