I always believed in listening to what someone says and then watching what they do! The old saying actions speak louder than words! Thank you for the quotes Sir! Have a great day!

So true and we can learn a lot from others actions. If we just shut up long enough to listen and watch.

Good way to approach every conversation Mark! Have a great evenin brother...

“Put on your best facial expressions and communicate the best and most positive nonverbal communications you can today and every day to make someone smile and feel the support they need. It’s about supporting others through a positive attitude and expressions that win over the day. Set the best example you can for those you lead and for your family members with the right nonverbal communication. Why not? You have everything to gain and nothing to lose. May you always carry that positive attitude with you on a regular basis, even when you have a “Bad Hair Day!” May you keep yourself in the best possible health to carry on with your missions; and keep your family safe, secure, happy, and healthy. Make it all about “Effective” nonverbal communications!” — COL (Ret) Mikel Burroughs

I expect that you made significant progress in understanding nonverbal communication especially if you have a pet dog or cat. Interspecies communication varies among species - dogs wag their tail when happy and cats wag their tail when angry. Some nonverbal communication approaches universal application and inference such as a twinkle in the eye accompanied by a sincere smile, a shudder in reaction to cool or cold air or cold reaction in response to a greeting; and wide opened arms of a toddler expecting to be picked up and held or for a grownup welcoming a friend or lover. The Holy Spirit dwells with the soul of each and every adopted child of the LORD. HE prompts us day by day and hour by hour for our protection as well as to bless others. my brother-in-Christ PVT Mark Zehner.

LORD, I lift the family members and friends that YOUR adopted sons and daughters are earnestly interceding for salvation, healing, and reconciliation of relationship. I pray that YOU bless the parents, children, and friends with reconciliation of estranged family members and friends. I pray LORD that you heal SPC Matthew Lamb and SGM Gerald Fife as YOU guide the mind, hands and feet of those medical staff members in the surgical wards ‘Brothers do not be children in your thinking. Be infants in evil, but in your thinking be mature. [1 Corinthians 14:20 ESV]
I lift the city government leaders and elected officials of Portland, Oregon; Seattle, Washington; New York City, Washington, D.C., the governors of California, New York and Michigan, Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi, Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell and Minority Leader Chuck Schumer to YOU. For the ‘leaders’ focused on the polling responses who are seeking signs of which way to tilt and sound bites. “When it is evening, you say, ‘It will be fair weather, for the sky is red.’ And in the morning, ‘It will be stormy today, for the sky is red and threatening.’ You know how to interpret the appearance of the sky, but you cannot interpret the signs of the times. An evil and adulterous generation seeks for a sign, but no sign will be given to it except the sign of Jonah.” [Matthew 16:2-4 ESV]
I pray that each child who is physically attending school is enthused about learning, alert to their surroundings, and healthy and that the vast majority will stay healthy throughout the school year.
I pray that you and your family members sleep well Monday night and will awake healthy on Tuesday morning.
By the power and authority of the Name above all names, Jesus the Christ.

Non-verbal day is an interesting focus.
1. No doubt the deaf and those who cannot speak would appreciate this focus, including Helen Keller.
2. Sign language and signing are examples of non-verbal communication.
3. For that matter reading quietly to oneself is an example of non-verbal communication between the author and the reader.
4. Pondering a painting, sculpture or other artwork is non-verbal communication between the artist and the observer.
5. Dancing is non-verbal communication

Good Monday, September 14, 2020 morning my friend COL Mikel J. Burroughs

Quotes I appreciate
1. Germany Kent “Kindness is universal. Sometimes being kind allows others to see the goodness in humanity through you. Always be kinder than necessary.”
2. Cindy Ann Peterson “Proper posture sends a positive message since 90% of all communication occurs through body language and how you carry yourself.” ― , My Style, My Way: Top Experts Reveal How to Create Yours Today'
3. Assegid Habtewold “If we only depend on what people say verbally, we're not even close to understand half of what is really going on. Go deeper!”
4. Ralph Waldo Emerson 'When the eyes say one thing, and the tongue another, a practiced man relies on the language of the first.'
5. Tecumseh, attributed by Lee Sulzman, Shawnee History 'Always give a word or a sign of salute when meeting or passing a friend, even a stranger, when in a lonely place.'
6. Rowan Atkinson 'Mr. Bean is at his best when he is not using words, but I am equally at home in both verbal and nonverbal expression.'

Scriptures
a. Matthew 16:1-4 ESV 'And the Pharisees and Sadducees came, and to test him they asked him to show them a sign from heaven. He answered them, “When it is evening, you say, ‘It will be fair weather, for the sky is red.’ And in the morning, ‘It will be stormy today, for the sky is red and threatening.’ You know how to interpret the appearance of the sky, but you cannot interpret the signs of the times. An evil and adulterous generation seeks for a sign, but no sign will be given to it except the sign of Jonah.” So he left them and departed.'
b. 1 Corinthians 14:20-22 ESV ‘Brothers, do not be children in your thinking. Be infants in evil, but in your thinking be mature. In the Law it is written, “By people of strange tongues and by the lips of foreigners will I speak to this people, and even then, they will not listen to me, says the Lord.” Thus, tongues are a sign not for believers but for unbelievers, while prophecy is a sign not for unbelievers but for believers
c. Isaiah 28:11-13 ESV 'For by people of strange lips and with a foreign tongue the LORD will speak to this people, to whom he has said, “This is rest; give rest to the weary; and this is repose”; yet they would not hear. And the word of the LORD will be to them precept upon precept, precept upon precept, line upon line, line upon line, here a little, there a little, that they may go, and fall backward, and be broken, and snared, and taken.'

ORD, I lift the family members and friends that YOUR adopted sons and daughters are earnestly interceding for salvation, healing, and reconciliation of relationship.
