The author of this drivel might as well be on the other side of the argument.
No "Assault weapons" were banned by the Brady Bill. No "Assault weapons" will be banned with whatever crap congress comes up with this time. So we're clear, we are talking AR-15s. Semi-Auto firearms like the M1A, M-14, Mini 14 Ranch Rifle, Mini 30, the 10/22 rifle, Remington 742 and a slew of others. Assault is a verb. Automatic weapons have been permit only since the National Firearms Act of 1934, the Gun Control Act of 1968 and the Hughes Amendment in 1986.

He starts this bit with THIS misleading statement about the AR; ...is the most easy to use and the most lethal gun available to civilians". This is from (assumedly) someone against the ban of these firearms. When y'all talk about this, be factual. There is enough BS out there already.

if one looks at the 1968 gun control act the logic for raising the age from 18 to 21 to own a handgun was to stop handgun violence and we all know how well that's been working. It's time that these grou[s are called out on their BS at every turn.

PFC Michael Korach - I agree. Feel good then, feel good now. Nothing tangible would come out of raising the age for all firearms and ammo to 21, but these are Tide Pod kids, so I'll let it ride. Still BS though!

# 1 problem with this article / news story - the opposing side is not and never will be 'gun safety advocates.' THAT is lie number one.
Lie # 2 - The opposition is not and never will be 'gun-control advocacy' groups, they are as stated in their mission statements and by-laws are anti-gun, you can not be both.
Lie # 3 - It is so silly, ignorant and stupid, it is not worth repeating.
