Nothing new. My youngest worked in a textbook publishing company for a while. He always laughed about seeing the Civil War called, The War of Northern Aggression. You can guess which color the state was that it was going to.

SFC Randy Hellenbrand My Uncle Bill used to Sell Books to Public Schools and He explained the Market to Me. Unfortunately "Texas" was His Biggest Purchaser and Decided pretty Much what would sell in the rest of the Market. Needless to Say I Strongly suspect it was Far from Truthful about Slavery, Native Americans and the Civil War.
