PO1 William "Chip" Nagel IX Corps had signal security in the an Army Security Agency, (ASA), detachment. ASA types became a nuisance to the telephone wiremen by purloining electricity to their squad tent via WD1/TT Telephone wire. When we would unknowingly attempt to cut those illegal wires, our TL-13s, Wireman’s Pliers would spark and give us a good scare! SFC William Farrell
