Teaching the Troops: Saint Leo University and the Military

A story on Saint Leo University's blog. Saint Leo's home campus was incredibly military friendly during my time there. I earned an ROTC scholarship which covered all of my education expenses and made some of the best friends of my life. When USF moved the date of our commissioning ceremony and my parents weren't able to attend both my graduation at SLU and commissioning at USF, I spoke with the President of Saint Leo, Dr. Arthur Kirk. He graciously modified the graduation ceremony to include a ceremonial commissioning for me and one other 2LT!
