Well said LTC Eric Udouj I concur with your quoted summary.
Lets use their own methods against them.

What do we have left to promote to those who have fled IS-controlled territory? No period in American history has done more damage than the 1960's. We tossed out what passed for American ethos and replaced it with nothing. In effect, we cast off our moorings and set our people adrift without any guidance or purpose. Everyone was supposed to "do their own thing". Well, they didn't. They simply grasped at whatever ideology happened to be within reach and the Left took advantage of it. Those who cling to "bibles and guns" are ridiculed. Those who live in "fly-over country" are beneath contempt. The vast populations clinging to the coasts look outward for guidance - "Let's emulate the Europeans" despite the fact that Europe is descending into chaos. Hopefully, the citizens of the United States of Flyover America will hang on until our moral and intellectual superiors join the Europeans in the trashbins of history.

Jack - we have yet to see those who have fled in the light we need to as to where they can help - and alot of that is based off of fears that are actually part of a Information Warfare campaign that IS is waging. If the West had some leadership with a little bit of resolve and some forward thinking - we just might see that we already have the answer to respond to IS. If one considers the Caliphate to own a place - they are not an insurgency.... so one can wage a guerilla war against them far past the minimal items we have done just training a few door kickers - being the physical aspect of a guerilla war is the smallest part of it.
