Experiments in space allow us to do things we cannot do on Earth. Making crystals of many kinds in micro climate means they can make larger, purer crystals.

Good morning Lt Col Charlie Brown and it is really amazing how we use the ISS to solve so many different types of medical and other types of issues... I thought this would be a good subject for Posting in "Space". Have a wonderful day, Charlie!

Always fascinated by space exploration, but this experimentation on Parkinson's Disease hits close to home. My older brother Paul was recently diagnosed with advanced Parkinson's. He is responding well to medication and therapy but anything that can improve his and other Parkinson's sufferers quality of life is much appreciated. Thanks for the update, Kerry.

My pleasure Col Carl Whicker! One of my best friends from the age of 6 was Bernard Donohue, a US Naval Academy graduate and River Patrol Boat Captain on the Mekong Delta in Vietnam, developed Parkinson's Disease as a result of the effects from "agent orange". He has been declining in health ever since His diagnosis... So this subject is close to me as well... Brian was like a brother to me growing up...

Sgt (Join to see) - Hopefully this research will come up with treatments that can help my brother and your friend to improve their quality of life. The disease can be so debilitating!

There are so many interesting and potential life saving experiments being conducted on our ISS SPC Douglas Bolton! More will be done in a broad area of projects and programs... Stay tuned as we continue our journey through our Solar System...
