The Federal Government stepped in when states refused to desegregate schools. Failure to uphold the law is, in my opinion Obstruction of justice.

PO1 Robert Payne - In this case its a matter of local and State Governments choosing not to enforce the law. When that happens you will get an influx of people who disagree with the law populating those areas. In the case of sanctuary cities its simply a case of the Democrats pimping for the Hispanic vote, as well as, in my opinion, looking the other way while illegals vote. Its all about them staying in office.
The Old Southern Democrat party did the same thing in Voter suppression in the South prior to the Civil Rights Movement.
