Lt Col John (Jack) Christensen Interesting information. I knew a former Polish Soldier that was from ‘Silesia’ area of Poland, it abutted Germany and the people spoke German with the proper accent. Because of his German Language skills and accent, he was parachuted into Germany three times - in a German uniform.
