Interesting SSgt (Join to see) and by the way I really liked CPT Jack Durish response to the question and shared link! Let's see what others have to say in the Top Influencers. I personally don't think we are the same country. We've allowed the media and political atmosphere to overtake all sense of reality dividing this country more than it has been over the last 16 years. It's sad that an event like 911 brings a country together when innocent people die and then our politics and media tear it apart - that is just my opinion and 2 cents Keith! Some on the left will not agree and some on the right will - what does the middle actually look like?

Since there are at least four operational dimensions to life, I chuckle when I see terms from Euclidean geometry which is focused on a "plane" such as 90 degree angles SSgt (Join to see) to describe changes in the affairs of mankind.
Just was we are the same individual even though each of our cells dies approximately every seven years and is replaced; our nation is still the USA even while many have died an many been born of entered this nation in the past 16 years.
1. Our founding documents were assaulted in the 1970s with penumbral rights and the idea of living breathing documents.
2. Our nation in some degrees is more polarized than it was before 9-11-2001.
3. The radicalized left has become more radical over the past 16 years - they railed against Wall Street in Obama's first term but went largely silent after he was reelected.
4. 5. Much of the college and university administration have been radicalized for a couple generations so that is not new. They try to church out radicalized young people and are successful in some cases. There are still many conservative colleges out there which helps to balance the educational output.
Home schooling is strong in many areas which also helps improve the situation among the youth.
The preponderance of folks who join the military is still; more conservative than liberals and more rural than urban.
6. The ouster of Bernie Sanders and the subsequent election of President Trump energized the radicalized left to a fervor.
Thanks for mentioning me COL Mikel J. Burroughs

I agree sir, when my son went to school at a private college he studied political science and some of the lessons that a certain professor would teach led to some very heated discussion between him and my son. He went so far as to call my son an idiot for his faith. My son handled it well i have to say, with a reminder that said professor was proud of his 144 iq. My son's is 160+ so if he's an idiot that he is in the same club as Einstein.
