Great video on the different slings, I'm a 2 point sling person.

SGT David A. 'Cowboy' Groth same here I got a single point along for when I'm tasked as gunner for our Humvees but mostly I prefer the 2 point sling for the very reason he mentioned so when let the weapon drop it falls to my support side rather then my firing side.

This was my favorite sling for 20 years in. Used on all my weapons. Used this sling when shooting M-16 in the Marine Corps Eastern Division Matches. Used the leather with the hook and two holes (hated it) shooting M-14 in the all Marine Corp Match. Still use the M1 sling today.
