Richard Thomson is a phenomenal guitarist who played with Fairport Convention. He and his erstwhile wife Linda were going through a divorce while the album Shoot out the Lights was being produced. Just the Motion is a wonderful duet between a couple who is in the midst of a divorce. They are both gifted performers who perform well together her beautiful voice and his amazing guitar.

Richard Thomson was the lead guitarist for Fairport Convention. His erstwhile wife Linda performed with them for a season or two. This album was listed as an essential album by the Rolling Stone guide to records - I still have the printed copy of that timeless document. SFC George Smith
