Thanks for sharing the sad news PO1 Tony Holland. This week I got the shocking news from the VBA that they had downgraded my 60% heart disease rating to 30% based on a 2015 individual unemployability evaluation. I fired of an email to the Patient advocate office which coordinated the evaluation nd I sent a message to my VA primary care who I have appointment with on the 23rd. I am angered because my heart is leaking a little more and my cardio meds have not been decreased at all.
I am gathering facts before I petition Congress for relief. the last time I did that was in 2010 and the VBA caved.

LCDR Rabbah Rona Matlow - The Physicians Assistant submitted me for IU. VBA never granted it and in fact reduced my disability rating.

LCDR Rabbah Rona Matlow - I see my primary care doctor on August 23. I intend to ask her if my heart has improved. The VFW helped me submit my original packet in 2008. Once I get a sense of my heart status, I will probably contact VFW and follow up with them after coordinating with the Patient Advocate.
I am considering petitioning Congress. I did that successfully in 2010. I want to make sure I have sufficient evidence before I go back to Congress.
