Report: Australian Woman Was Shot By Minneapolis Cop As She Talked To His Partner

....WTF!

So she was talking to one Officer and the other one drew his gun and shot her... for what reason? An unarmed middle age women in her pajamas is now a threat that deadly force can be used against? I can not fathom what would be going through the Officers head that shooting her is justified or warranted at that moment. He also was shooting from a seated position across his partner and through the car door.....

Yup, and because the cop Somali and the woman white, there will be a huge stink, and he'll go to jail. Were the woman Black and the cop white, as has happened far too frequently, the cop would not even be charged, let alone convicted and sent to prison.

In the end, there needs to be a national policy on police use of force, along with much better vetting and training of cops. The hard spot is that many departments are under staffed, and so bad apples don't get pulled from the streets.
