Gaetz and his co-sponsors obviously have zero understanding of the realities of that conflict. Putin has no interest in "peace", only in fulfilling his legacy of re-establishing the old Soviet empire which includes dismantling Ukraine and then Latvia, and so on. Seems Mr. Gaetz did not study WWII, appeasement of Hitler just led to greater war. Submitting to the will of bullies is not the path to peace.
