I'm just wondering what's next. Chris Kyle's statute? Korean War monuments? Vietnam memorials? Beirut memorials? OIF/OEF fallen soldier memorials? They can't keep giving in to these groups that are trying to erase history. I'm so fed up with all this.

Claiming the Civil War was not about slavery is whitewashing history. This removing of confederate monuments is about ending the glorification of those that took up arms against the USA.

States rights - southern states believed it was their right to have slave - thus it was about slavery.
Though it has gone far past just removing monuments - the renaming of building etc on campuses is in full swing.
Though I have heard of any call to remove Sen. Byrd's name from anything.
