People forget that the United States is a special place when it comes to freedom

Street preaching is both exhilarating and dangerous at the same time if you are preaching outside of this country.
When I arrived in India to work with India Village Care Ministries by teaching in their bible college and ministering at night in the villages and hamlets of the more remote areas, I expected to be able to do some street preaching in the city of Salem. That idea was immediately quenched when I was told that at best I would be arrested and deported or could even be killed by the Muslims who operate with relative impunity in India, meaning it was very likely nothing would happen to them.
Lt Col Charlie Brown expressed it well where she offered "People forget that the United States is a special place when it comes to freedom" and she is precisely correct on that point.
Never-the-less, the world needs Christ and it is our duty to get the word out to everyone who will hear irrespective of the danger. Sadly, at least in India, there is nothing to be gained by defying the law and likely everything to lose.
I have great respect for the missionaries who are on that front line every day, in places where most of us would not wish to be let alone live.
Thanks for posting this today, Brother Murphy and have a blessed day, my friend.
