Good morning COL Mikel J. Burroughs from chilly Northern Va. Supposed to get to 50 today.
Negotiation, something apparently our government has forgotten how to do. All I hear are ultimatums from both sides; it doesn't work that way. If we tried to manage our lives or our businesses that way, the failure rate would be close to 100 percent. Find some common ground and work from there; alternatively, find something that the other party wants but hasn't thought of and offer that as a starting point. Often both can come away winners; in a duel, often no one wins.
