Does anyone else see the irony in this. Germany under the Nazis sought to purify its "race" and is now destroying it by importing people who are hostile to their core values.

That's a very valid concern. Imagine the world mobilizing to defend radical Islamists from a new Holocaust. Wouldn't that be ironic inasmuch as they have been perpetrating their own Holocaust in their homelands for centuries?
