Still trying to get straight on what he was doing there. There is one missionary
group there, under strict supervision. If you are going to worship anything in North Korea it had better be Beloved Leader. Anything else is illegal and has been as long as North Korea has existed. In fact it goes back long before Communism. In 1871 the US Marines destroyed the Han River Forts to stop the crucifixion of missionaries.

One certainly needs to be extremely careful over there, to be sure. But Weterners go to NK and still do not end up like this young man. This story holds many unanswered questions.

Definitely weird that the parents said his teeth looked like they had been rearranged by a pair of pliers and the coroner said they were normal and in good repair. But the mother refused an autopsy, saying she didn't want to let him out of her sight ever again. So I guess we'll never know. I don't know how much could really be determined as to the actual actions that led to those symptoms.
