PO1 William "Chip" Nagel awe inspiring piece. Anything that Oprah is involved with it certainly gets my attention. I have followered her since the 1980s and have found her moral fortitude for fairness, humanity, justice, forthrightness, success, fighting for the underdog, transparent information, etc. to be unblemished. I hope I interpreted the tone on the comments wrongly. I am a Negroid, but I am not a "they". With dignity, an artistic presentation has depicted the kind of hell it was felt Negro people deserved at one time, in History. I until the day I die will emphasize the good and the bad of our History, in hopes, that it will inspire him to shape his own children into human beings who are descendents of a complicated existence to be their "very best them".

PO1 Tony Holland - I would also respond to Chip Negal but he blocked, so tolerant.. the great switch is a modern fair tail. I can think of only one ranking Democrat that changed, Storm Thurmond. Wallace started his own party. Gore, Fulbright, Byrd ( last KKK member in Congress ) etc all remained Democrats. https://www.nationalreview.com/2014/08/myth-republican-racism-mona-charen/

The unsinkable Representative Charles B. Rangel appeared on C-SPAN over the weekend. Why unsinkable? Well, in 2010 the House of Representatives censured the New York Democrat by a vote of 333 to 79…
