Seems the NYT's can't make up its mind... the generals are supposed to "save" us from Trump... but I thought that that the constitution places the CinC/POTUS and the Sec Def as the heads of the military respectively. If the Generals were to act in a more aggressive way the snowflake NYT's would be screaming that a Coup was being carried out by the Pentagon... This is truly unbelievable. Perhaps they should review the article in which it was reported that the Chinese Premier reviews his troops wearing "battledress" in their own preparations for war. Makes for an interesting juxtaposition image wise. We do not ever expect the Commander in Chief to present themselves in "battledress"! Think about it.

What, was the NY times expecting parts of the military to Mutiny and stage a coup.... I don't get the treason vibe from most generals...

NYT's just trying to sell subscriptions. For every positive action they can always find something negative to focus on, so I take all of them with a grain of salt. Thanks for sharing.

These are called OP ED's, or Opinion columns. They aren't news stories. They are written by different contributing authors and published. If they have contrary opinions, it because, as unlikely as this may seem, two people's opinions disagree with each other. Crazy, right?
