I believe they are temporary bases, whatever that means. They are playing us two ways. Just watch they will yell uncle soon.

Their constitution doesn't allow for permanently stationed foreign troops, so the bases will be occupied by rotating units which is what the supreme court decided is allowable.

I'm glad to see it. There was a big push to close bases when we facilitated Macos leaving the Philipines with pallets of peso. And they put it into there constitution to keep us out. This will help stimulate the economy. What I don't want to see are bars and prostitutes. This is how Filipinos see us. We need to make a good impression.
