It could be posturing or it could be a bait and switch. Democrats would be happy and put away their depends and Kaopectate if president Trump failed to attain this Summit since they don't want him to win the end of the Korean War and they will do anything at any cost (like traitors John Kerry and Hillary Clinton have been behind the scenes in Europe over their meddling with EU leaders over the cancelling of the bad Nuke Deal giving Iran an A-bomb by 2022 )all they care about is GD November elections that they're wanting to win so badly since they have a sore Papa over the presidential election

Pompeo said during talks with Chairman Kim, he understood US-ROK exercises would not be cancelled or postponed and thus not a problem for the summit. Maybe Pompeo should have another chat with his translator to make sure that indeed was the conversation.
Or we can believe this is just Kim and N. Korea wanting to ensure no one is taking them for granted that this whole "de-nuclearization" talk he keeps seeing in US media is a done deal.
