Thank you for letting us know COL Lee Flemming that Lt. Gen. Scott Miller has been chosen as the next commander of U.S.-led forces in Afghanistan, according to senior military officials, after two years in charge of the military’s secretive Joint Special Operations Command.
FYI my old friend and classmate General Tony Thomas commanded JSOC before he was chosen as the commander of SOCOM to replace our mutual friend General Joe Votel who assumed command of CENTCOM.
Best wishes for success for LTG Scott Miller and the US and allied forces who will be working and waging war in Afghanistan.
Thank for mentioning me SFC Joe S. Davis Jr., MSM, DSL
