New Orleans Man Sentenced for Violating the Federal Gun Control Act

There's a lot of aspects to this story that didn't get told here. It boils down to Melvin Walker, because of His criminal status as a Felon will be going to jail for 3 years because he was defending himself during a drive by. He took a bullet while doing so. I have no idea what brought on His Felon status, but I'm still going to throw the BS flag. A man standing in His front yard should not have to accept being shot at by a moving car.
