Damn. If they would let me come back, in I would gladly take a rusty old destroyer escort to sea for the Navy. Hell, I would take a tug boat or a landing craft. Then again, I think the Navy would justifiably go into convulsions at the thought of a Marine at the helm of one of their ships! But an old Marine can dream!
