Hopefully, better trained JO's! I learned the most from a WO when I was a young officer.

LT Brad McInnis
PO1 Andrew Gardiner - Still better than most straight stick O's I worked with! Kinda wish I was still in to do the cyber stuff, to be honest.

I'd seen stuff on this on here awhile back...it's certainly quite a creative usage of the mechanism, obviously, I'd expect it could certainly be done for other fields as well, of course....

Just as an observation, I could never quite understand why USAF stopped warrants while I'd been in...I mean, I realize why senior NCOs were used in their place, I'd read an article that one CMSgt where I was assigned had apparently been made actual head of a major system program ofc (SPO) for the first time, while I'd been there...also, USPHS, interestingly, is apparently allowed warrants in their statute, though, for whatever reason, they've never asked to have any assigned, I've seen stuff on whether, e.g., paramedics could be made warrants in the USPHS on various sites, though nothing has apparently ever been done with the notion...USPHS had an inactive Reserve I'd really wanted to go into, I knew one physician who'd been in it, I'd chatted with him a couple of times, I actually thought it was a really good program, though Congress apparently shut it down a few yrs ago, a good many of those in it were obv disappointed, I always thought that could've been a really good way for USPHS to have integrated warrants into their world...obviously, those are just idle musings, of course, for whatever they might be worth....
