Navy announces sailor's death

Does anyone know anything more on this?
The U.S. Navy on Saturday announced the non-combat death of a sailor involved in the effort against ISIS in the Middle East.
Seaman Connor Alan McQuagge, 19, of Utah, died on Thursday, the Department of Defense announced in a news release. The release said McQuagge died of a non-combat-related injury, but did not provide further details and said the incident remains under investigation.
McQuagge served on the USS Harpers Ferry in the Red Sea as part of Operation Inherent Resolve, the U.S. military effort to eliminate ISIS.

Sad. I heard. Sounds like he was standing his post in the Armory, Depressed with lots of guns available. What a Horrible thing for the Entire Crew.

PO2 (Join to see) - Sorry to hear that. It was just expedient in his case but you're probably right he would've still found a way. Wasn't long ago we lost one overboard and not recovered and every indication it was suicide. Lots of ways to do it on a ship.

I'm just so sad that we keep losing guys when we probably know they're depressed. I wish we could reach them before they felt there was no other option.
