Shades of Calvin Coolidge. This is how you deal with an out of control budget and a bloated government bureaucracy. Of course, this also means that Congress will have to go back to work and do the job they were elected to do. They will have to craft real legislation rather than voting on initiatives and allowing the bureaucrats to "tell us what's in them".

Can we start with Congress? Put them on an hourly salary so Americans can get their money back for the times they aren't in D.C. or their home state doing their jobs.

If Congress had a 40 hour work week, they would all die.......they are too busy getting re-elected to do their jobs.....Sec Mulvaney is not going to be popular with a lot of career "civil servants" who have been retired on active duty for so long......can't wait for this one to shake out......
