Its nice to see a little common sense and "real" science back into the climate science world.

I agree, everything needs to learn how to operate off of 10% budget and get 100% efficiency of what you need it to do.

Austin Hocutt - The toilet seat issue is always used as an example. This is a strawman argument. A mistake in nomenclature and pricing caused the problem. Better audits should have caught it much sooner. Sorry if I cannot agree; however, you have made some great comments about cutting costs. I just think 90% to be too drastic.

I won't argue against anything you have said, but we do need a budget reform for everything in the government. Even in the military contracts that we give out to our tanks, planes, etc. Cause if you see the comparison of the prices between a New SU-35 and a F-35.
You'll see the price difference for whats making our 3 Trillion $ airforce age so quickly.

Not sure, but from what I have read on both sides of the question, I believe that the issues we are facing now, have occurred and will occur again. The earth posts cyclical changes and whatever happens during these times will happen one way or the other.

Cyclic changes in climate is not an "issue". It is merely fact. Man-made changes in climate are the "issue" under debate. No evidence has been presented supporting the radical effects claimed, only computer models using "adjusted" data.
