I think I learned the USMC rules at VMI, but had to practice the Ranger rules. Lol. Why civilians do not understand, there IS too much truth in our humor.

A rule that is broken only by the brave if you have balls of platinum...or stupid if you get caught. Please note, that Officers don't walk on Sergeant Majors grass.

I still remember a Sergeant Major inspection in AIT 1965 Fort Lewis Wa. Second lieutenants were literally puking behind the barracks

I got drunk one night in Nam sharing a bottle of Black and White scotch with our E-9 flight scheduler.We laughed a lot. Even the WO's called him Sir. Lol
