Michael J. Martin & Tim Holiday - Who Are the Names on the Wall?

Martin' s album " Windmill" is one of the best depictions of life in the panhandle, and his work in the 80's brought awarness to this whole country about how we treat veterans. He was a truly great Texan.

He hailed from Ropesville, Tx., served in Vietnam 1968-1969 in the America Division. He and Tim Holliday played his first album, "Windmill," at the dedication of the Vietnam Memorial in Washington D.C., Formed Veterans organization "The Last Patrol", organized walk from Dallas to the Alamo "A Journey to Remember" to bring attention to veteran issues such as agent Orange and PTSD and POW MIA which were all at that time denied by the VA. He organized a walk from the Alamo to the Vietnam Wall in 1987, inspired vitnam veterans to organize and walk all over the USA.

He and Holliday's music spoke to veterans like no others. He wrote and performed the music for the commercial for the "Wounded Warrior Project" Titled "Say a Prayer for Me"
