Having been through my own battles and living with issues not apparent to the naked eye, I will do my best to not judge anyone else. The case presented here seems pretty cut and dry, but for most of us, it's still speculation. Hardships that cause ptsd can come from anywhere and it isn't a sign of weakness. Just don't lie about the issues you have or where you believe they came from.

Joe my friend,
That is the best way to describe PTSD Yes, PTSD does not come with any scars or limbs removed to verify one is a casualty of was! But it is in ones Psychologic issues that make a person a Physical wreck. There are people that go off the deep end when they came home. The scale of injury is from: suicide, murder, any other crime manageable! Some soldiers have even come home and woke up one day and get themselves killed by cop, killed family etc and later do not remember any of their crimes.

GOOD, that money could have gone to a veteran living in a dumpster somewhere
