I'm torn on how I feel about what Lt. Col. Scheller has done. Part of me knows fighting the status que is hard to do and during active duty can land one in the Brig. Now, he is in the Brig.
I get the impression many in America support his cause. I just wish he had done so after resigning to help protect himself and his family. But I agree with him the pull out was a CF and the 20yrs in Afghanistan appears to have been for the good of stock prices. Very much like Vietnam War IMO.

The bottom line is while You are in active service there are things You can't say about those in Your chain of command even when they are complete, incompetent idiots Who are also harming our nation and out Allies You can't say that. The Colonel did put His career on the line although His statements are true ! Biden should be happy seeing another Military officer that isn't a Kiss ass and political hack out the door.

Interesting that the "defund the police" and "empty the prisons" party is quick to make political prisoners of Americans who disagree with them.
Day in, day out dissension among the troops must be dealt with immediately. Most of us have exercised our leadership to bring recalcitrant troops into the fold without resorting to stockade or brigs. Personally, in nearly 30 years, I never, ever said " that's an order". A simple "a word to the wise is sufficient" never failed to achieve results. The Army and Navy has a long history of senior officers laying their careers on the line is disputes with administrations. Lively afternoon conversations can be had discussing Truman/MacArthur, Truman/Admirals revolt etc. Whether you agree with his position or not (obviously I do), you cannot but admire a man who has risked all on principle.

I agree he has some huge balls CW04 to make known his disagreement. I share his thoughts in a lot of his statements. His last statement after a direct order maybe more than the Marine Corp can allow. I don't know for sure. But I am concerned.

What complete crap, Biden and His cronies caused this and screwed everything up. Too bad a Lt Colonel though threw His career down the toilet but then fighting for things the Idiot in the White House has no concept of Maybe He is the one that should be in jail. The Marine Officer does NOT belong in jail although I can understand His feelings expressing them while on active duty wasn't the beast idea despite the fact the "Commander in Chief" has failed in everything He has done in less than a year. Well it follows over 50 years of failure taking up space (not calling it service, it isn't) in the Government and accomplishing nothing that was in the best interest of our nation of our citizens.

Just out of curiosity. Are you aware their were at least two FBI informants in the crowd Jan. 6th that knew about some moving to trespass on public property? Yet, they did nothing? Kind of like that Florida Homosexual night club murderer who's father was an FBI informant. The list of such examples is long with the leadership of the FBI. Odd. Don't you think?
