Marine Awarded for Innovation

Wilbur, a 25 year-old Clearwater, Florida native and chief instructor for the College of Military Education Courses (CEME), 2nd Maintenance Battalion, was the winner of the second quarter’s Commanding General Innovation Challenge for her introduction of Design Thinking into command sponsored primary military education courses. Design Thinking encourages organizations to focus on the people they are creating for, which leads to better products, services, and internal processes.
