I had the privilege of seeing the original Lynyrd Skynyrd a couple months later in Evansville, Indiana in the early summer of 1975 while I was stationed at Fort Campbell, Kentucky.
As usual they performed extremely well to an enthusiastic crowd.

I was stationed at nearby Fort Monmouth, New Jersey from August 1975 to July 1976. I would have loved to see this concert.
