I can't remember ever hearing about SCOTUS actually handing down a punishment, just opinions on matters of law. But I've got to think there might be be some animosity in the Judges over this case.

Governors just can't help but double down on the stupid. The governor of Hawaii is another example. He just restricted areas from concealed carry as well. Lawsuits are in the works.

They HAVE to continue chipping at the 2A in order to find a weakness that they can exploit. It has never been about the governors ability to limit guns, it's all about control.
