The first Prototype of the C130 was flown the year before I was born and they are still flying the damn thing. Which is going to last longer in service, it or the B52.

My money is on the C-130 since they're still building new ones, while no B-52 has been built since the mid 60s. Wife's first military hop flight was on a C-130 from Travis AFB, CA to Hickham AFB, HI for our honeymoon in 1970. Fortunately the return trip was on a civilian charter 707 or I don't think I'd have ever gotten her to take a military hop again!
