Whackos can be found on both ends of the political spectrum........and should be defended by nobody. Judging by the amount of firepower and ammo this guy had stockpiled, I would suspect his whackiness resided on the far right side. It shouldn’t be that way. People losing lives over a opinion on a topic that’s not even going to matter in the next few months to years. These are senseless acts of violence. I really wish people didn’t get so butt hurt over an opinion! Everyone is entitled to free speech. I hope we see better days in our future.

It is really sad to see that we have both white and black people saying mean things against people who listen to country music assuming that only extreme right-wing conservatives listen to that. I'm sure if this had been Elton John playing at let's say a book signing for Hillary Clinton's new book and someone had opened up with the AK-47 Sporter with a drum or high-capacity magazines and killed a hundred of her supporters that the people on this post would be sympathetic. We wouldn't be saying things like... Yay!! Die Democrats! We would be in shock and consider them as human beings and we wouldn't care what political persuasion they were because we know that that's somebody's mother, father, sister, brother or relative. We would be understanding and we would probably even be going to give blood if we lived nearby like they did in Reno. People, especially us active duty and prior service active and reserve military personnel, have seen people killed or have been two ramp ceremonies and funerals for the Fallen. We don't want it to happen everybody. We don't want it to happen to Bernie Sanders nor to Hillary Clinton or anybody who may have a different political opinion than us. We care about people and even if we don't like their political opinion, we don't want any harm to happen to them. The 59 people who passed away in Las Vegas are not all conservative. I'm sure you'll find later once we get the biographies on these victims, that some of them if not half of them were not conservative. Let us pray for the survivors and for the victims of yesterday's shooting. This is not a time to figure point or to wish ill will toward anybody. It almost reminds me of what I hear at Christmas time... Peace on Earth, Goodwill toward men and women! The CBS executive which is a verified posting is now history!

LTC (Join to see) - You're hitting the nail on the head. It's interesting to me that we seem to think of ourselves as more modern and sophisticated than our ancestors. But this kind of reaction, calling for peoples heads and celebrating deaths, is as ancient as time itself. Our technology may have changed, but our hearts are still the same.

People should know when to keep their thoughts private, especially fucked up thoughts (pardon my language). I hope people who took screenshots looks these people up and sends it to their employers. They'll all get fired.
