When FDR proclaimed "We have nothing to fear but fear itself", he was praised. When President Trump and others say essentially the same thing, they are vilified, despite the fact that it is as true today as it was during WWII. Sadly, the Left is employing the strategy of not only disagreeing with anything and everything that the President says, but "fact checking" anything and everything. Facts have nothing to do with it. Indeed, more often than not, their claims are themselves need to be fact checked and when they are, they prove false. Yes, they have the right to be wrong, but not to the degree that they incite fear and panic. As Justice Oliver Wendell Holmes once said, "freedom of speech does not mean that one can falsely should 'fire' in a crowded theater." Well, the fear that the Left, and their shills in the Democratic Party and the media have incited, has incited panic including the closing of schools and other lockdowns in places where the Coronavirus has not reached pandemic proportions, but point that out at your own peril. The Left will turn on anyone, and their minions will track down and harrass, even attack small fish like you and I, if we have the temerity to disagree with them.
