My stepson who was stationed in Mosul as Army law enforcement up to about six years ago said it was horrendous how the US provided big equipment to Iraqis which was being sold .. and some was provided again. Add to list of 1.mismanagement of US military funds or 2. ———(fill in blank)

So, those in "sand land" are one or two steps beyond the stone age, the experts load them up with the latest in Western technology and are baffled when things go awry.

I mean will they investigate though? Probably not. Even before this, the USG is well aware conservative numbers of how much equipment, provided to them or ours they're supposed to be transporting, goes missing.
