Lt Col Charlie Brown - True, I understood exactly wha tMy Dad told Me, He didn't ever raise His voice or go wild either. The only thing We got a spanking for is if We lied to Him, then You wished You hadn't. We all found out if He was asking about something He already knew the truth so You better come clean and at least avoid the spanking. He neve went wild on that, it was only on the bottom with His hand but it did hurt. He NEVER hit us with any object or a fist, not even once. Mom couldn't hit hard enough for it to even hurt so it was up to Dad if a spanking was ever needed. As long as You told the truth there was no spanking.
