Are we really surprised that these high ranking officials don't think that security procedures and safeguards apply. I remember what the paperwork I had to sign for my TS clearance referred to jail time for minor violations These government employees are dealing with classified material levels above TS. So they have no excuse and all should be held accountable for any violations. Because this puts America at risk.

Wondering if Snowden has a copy of these emails, because he had everything secrete and top secrete. It would look funny if the most common email was better protected then secret sites. Given the fact that I got a letter from the Gov that all my info has been compromised.

I doubt that Kerry will be held accountable for his "secret" email from his personal account - I wonder if this was secret email from a political perspective or national security of both. I hope that Hillary Rodham Clinton will face the music by the early summer for her Top Secret emails from a personal account.
